My girlfriends laptop keeps losing connection when she wakes it from hibernation. Troubleshooting the network usually fixes it but is a bit annoying.

Thinking it might need new drivers.

How can I get the model number of it from her laptop??

Really annoying me now cos I can't find it.

Cheers

The wife had the same issue, several hours of tweaking i decided to set it to shutdown when she closed the lid, much less problems

Windows 7 Wireless connection drops after PC has been in sleep mode
Additionally, you may also change the wireless network adapter settings to make sure the wireless device isn’t switched off:
1. Click Start, type Device manager in the Start search box and hit Enter.
2. Select Network adapter and expand the same
3. Select the wireless device, right-click and select Properties.
4. Select the Power management tab.
5. Uncheck the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

hope this helps

What is the name of your wireless adapter and have you tried updating the drivers already. Sorry that the other idea did not work. If you can get me that i could find you the right drivers if that helps.
