Wireless problems

Hi
Wondering if anyone can help. I am trying to connect my house mates laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo) to my wireless 3Com network, but in the windows network list nothing is being displayed. The wireless device in the laptop is
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG

Any help or advise would be great!

The SSID is enable on the routier. Do you mean turn it off on the routier?

it is enabled and yes my machine can see it (and im using it now)

no there is nothing like that... well nothing in the start menu or the control panel

Ok there was meant to be a program to set up the network called Odyssey.... but it still does not find any networks!

And it also works with an external Wireless USB adapter! im really stumpped as to why this does not work!

I found the switch on the front saying 'wireless on/off'
