Wireless Probs!

Hey,

I have a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set, its not expensive but i would still expect it to work.

The signal gets interupted the whole time, i can see the green light flash when trying to reconnect. The odd thing is that it works on our family dell desktop downstairs but not on my custom built machine

I've download the latest drivers, moved the thing about so theres no interference but it still refuses to stay connected to my keyboard and mouse.

Has anyone got any suggestions as what the problem could be? could i have changed some bios settings or is the usb just rubbish on the back of our mobo. (MSI Nforce 4 board!)

I have a wired keyboard and mouse for the mo, but i hate it. Any advice or solutions would be amazing.

Edit out swearing, mods won't like it.

Have you tried a different USB port?

hadnt relised i sweared.

yeh i've tried it in severel different usb ports on the back. hmmm... its really baffling me!! maybe i should look in the bios settings, altho if i had done something in the bios, would the usb port work at all?!?


EDIT- Just noticed that in the device manager in comp properties theres no listings of usb controllers at all! Could this be the problem?
