Wireless psp on a plane allowed?

Don't think you can have the wifi turned on as it interferes with the instruments or someting, but you can play PSP on planes. Or at least you used to be able to, but now I'm not so sure because of all the security measures on planes - you could have C4 on there!

Check with the carrier. When I flew with BA last year they said that you could use laptops/handheld games consoles if you switched off any wifi etc, and could use your phone as long as it had a 'flight mode' which you switched on before the flight got under way.

Well, officially you're not allowed to, however it has been proven that wireless devices and phone actually have no effect on plane gizmos. I think they wouldn't have been able to convince people it was dangerous for much longer anyway, considering they're soon going to introduce a new service where you can use your phone on a plane if you pay them a fee

Basically, they'll prob tell you not to, but you wouldnt crash the plane if you did.

Airlines are about to start introducing wi-fi internet access on planes, so I don't think they can really claim it interfears with anything anymore!

As long as it doesnt allow you to remote play the cockpit controls you should be fine ;) Pretty much every flight I have been on there are people on laptops, nintendo ds and psp... not like there is anything else to do.
