Wireless ranges and Arials

Do differnt laptops have betetr ranges to connect to wireles networks than others.

Will an Arial make any odds to me getting a better signal, or a signal at all..

The wireless card i have, buffola one, is about 2 years old, are newer cards better now ?

Just a few questions i could do with being answered....

This is Arial but I think you mean aerial.

Good point lol... speling never bean my good point...
