Wireless rear speakers

Are there any reasonably priced rear speakers that are wireless?

I'm looking to add speakers to my current 2.1 setup but due to position etc, wired is a bit of a pain to install.

Guessing you don't aready have any rear speakers? (there are kits to make wired speakers wireless if that's of any use)

The short answer is no, for a few reasons.

What there is though is a wireless transmitter/receiver kit designed to take the speaker level signal from your amp and provide a speaker level output for the rear channels. The catch is that the system is only wireless from the front of the room to the back. The rear speakers still need to be wired to the kit receiver which works as an amplifier too, so you still have speaker wires to the rear surround speakers and now you need a power socket at the back of the room too.

Look up "Marmitek Surround Anywhere 220" It's about £100. This is the wireless kit. Add the cost of speakers and speaker cable.

I looked into this myself and decided it wasn't worth the effort compared to just burying flat speaker cables under the carpet.
