Firstly i know nothing at all about wireless!
A friend wanted wireless though out the net which ive managed with a us robotics router/dsl BUT there is one room which just cant get a signal or gets like 1mps then drops.
So ive obtained one of these...

On the pretence of being told that i can extend the signal with this.
Is it possible if so how? all i have is the actual unit and psu. Ive read the usr site but doesnt really help me as im still unsure what mode for it to be in or setting ips etc?
