Afternoon all.

Recently I upgraded a home network to wireless using the BT home hub. One laptop is quite a distance away so Ive bought a D-LINK DWL-G710 repeater. When I plug the repeater into the all the power light and WLAN flash and all seems well but the only trouble I'm having is finding the thing on the network. Its got a usual web based managemet and i cant for the live of me find it. Here is more info:

1. The Bt Home hub is on a 192.168.1.xx configuration
2. In the instructions the repeater is supposed to be 192.168.0.30

Am I correct in thinking if its on a different subnet it wont work or is that too obvious? Also can I double check I have set everything up correctly.

1. I am assuming if your not using ethernet cables you can simply plug the repeater into the mains and it will work (without the cable WLAN flashes happily).

Any help really appreciated as it's doing my head in.

Sorry guys, it was the subnet. Is it just a case of setting static ip's on the 2 machines or does anyone know if you can do it through the home hub?
