Earlier this week we had a few problems with NTL dropping the connection, there was some maintenance going on or something or other. Anyway, when the modem eventualy came back to life I still couldn't connect to the net so I unplugged the router for a while, plugged it back in and it worked though for some reason it'd lost all of its settings which has never happened before. All was well until the cable died on us again a couple of days later only now I couldn't (and still can't) connect to the net via the router no matter what I do. I've tried hard resetting it, disabling the security, connecting via different pcs both wirelessly and via ethernet and nothing works. We can connect to the router itself, I even tried installing the newest firmware to no avail but for some reason I can't connect to the net. I can connect to the net directly as this post shows so it has to be a problem with the router, it's like it's blocking it or something >.<

The router is a Linksys WRT54G V5. Is there anything I can do? Or am I going to have to fork over some cash for a new router? :(
