Hi guys

I'm currently in rent Uni accomodation, and the other week other internet provider changed from ResNet to Freewire.

While with ResNet, I had my router connected to the ethernet port in my room, and the computer connected direct, laptop and phone on wireless (as per norm really)

How-ever, since changing to Freewire we had to create an account with them and sign into it, and while trying to do that with the router connected as per above i got an untracable IP error. So I plugged the computer directly into the Ethernet in my room and it all works fine.

I've done a few IP checks (CMD - ipconfig /all) and they have all come back with exactly the same details, so i plugged those into the router but it didn;t work... (Router is a Netgear RangeMax WNDR3300).

So my next thought was to connect the router to my 2nd ethernet port on the computer and then get it to broadcast the wireless that way. I've tried a shared internet connection and bridging them but haven't got anywhere.

Any idea if this is possiable, its really annoying me not being able to use my laptop and phone on the wireless

Thanks
