Wireless Router Help

Im a complete wireless network noob but I want to set up a wireless network so I can connect my 360 so that I can stream divx to the lounge. I want to connect my main computer to the router via a wired connection as the cable modem is only a foot away from the computer so its rather pointless making it wireless (computer is in the loft room). Anyway, is there any throughput issues with certain wireless routers that would cause any issues with streaming divx ?? Thanks

edit: currently Im looking at Belkin wireless G+ MIMO and wireless N MIMO.

I thought there was a proper X box wireless thngy for the job?

There is but surely you need the router at the cable modem end.

Excellent thanks for that, unfortunately its too late I bought a Belkin N MIMO As I say Im a noob so havent a clue when it comes to networking, is Belkin stuff rubbish ??
