Ok,so I installed a DLink DIR 655 router today for a friend.Eventually got the desktop pc connected and could access the router config page and get on the internet via ethernet cable.
Problem occured when trying to wirelessly connect the laptop. When trying without any type of security, connected fine. With WPA enabled, the laptop kept saying 'Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on' when trying to connect.Googled and none of the solutions worked for me.Authentication page is greyed out when using WPA.Using WEP the laptop says 'Verifying Identity' or something similar.
I've been pulling my hair out for hours and have had to leave it for today but will be going back to try to rectify the solution on Weds.
Please, please, please could someone post an idiots guide to setting it up and getting it working 100%?
