Howzit Guys,

I'm trying to get our wireless router setup at work. We have an Internet cafe with 5 PC's for customer use two for office use. They're all linked to a switch and a Broadband router. The wireless router is currently plugged into the switch. And shows the lights it should have on. Except for the WLan-G light. So there's no wireless connectivity on it.

I need to get access to the router. I tried going to the Fire Fox browser and typing in 192.168.2.1. This is the address of the router. I just get an error page saying it took too long to respond or some crap like that.

Could anyone give me some more help on this? We really need to get it working. The router (Wireless one) is a Canyon CN W514. It's 802.11G. I've downloaded the manual, but it hasn't helped that much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks guys.

Robert. :)

Okay. I've tried Internet Explorer and tried resetting the router. IE gives me a page cannot be found error. Or if I connect the Wireless Router to the switch it give me a 403 forbidded access error. I just can't seem to get into this thing.

Would it help if I directly connect it to the PC and not go though a switch/hub ?

Thanks once again.

Okay. I got into it. Problem still not solved. The settings seem okay to me...not too sure. :(

Thanks for the help anyway, William. ;)

Can you describe what is your current problem?

So far I have worked out that you are now connected to the Access Point using an Ethernet cable. What step are you not able to achieve?
