Wireless router reccomendation for Virgin media?

Looking to go wireless soon, any fellow "virgins" out there suggest a good (cheapish if possible) wireless router?

Also, I need a wireless card that works with Vista x64.

Yeah I agree the WRT54GL with custom firmware is very hard to beat.

I uses a Linksys WRT54GL with Tomato firmware.

It's way better than any routers i've had before it.

Been using the same router for a while now but only just made the switch to Tomato from dd-wrt... however I gotta say that I do like Tomato. Wish I'd tried it sooner.

what package are you on with Virgin , if you are on the XL (20Mb) give them a ring and ask for a router , they will send you a free Netgear, Think its a WGT624 wireless router....

Even if you arn't on the XL ask them for one before you buy , the worst they can say is no...

Cheap and works well Vista x64. Is compatible with Ralink drivers due to RT2860 chipset. Am currently running this with greater throughput so am happy. Is linked to Belkin Pre n router, but is also compatible with b/g services.
