Wireless Router settings

On the superhub admin login setting site thing, is there any settings I can use to make the connection stronger? It seems to cut out on my upstairs PC and on other devices upstairs. It's been getting worse recently since the Virgin engineer told me to change settings on there. Any help please?

Download inssider and check the wireless channels in use by your surrounding networks. Then change the wireless channel to a clearer one.
