We've got a Draytek 2860n router which is a guest network and due to this lots of clients and staff phones / tablets connect to it when in the office. This is fine, we don't mind this as that's what its for.
However, once the number of simultaneously connected clients starts to get over 30, the connection becomes very slow, even with no usage going through it in Diagnostics / Usage monitor.
This also happened with the previous router which was a 2850n. Any ideas on how best to troubleshoot this?
The connection is ADSL 6.5Mb/0.5Mb. DHCP lease time is 15 minutes. Bandwith is restricted to 100k up / 2000k down. I've also tried with no bandwidth restrictions. The wireless is limited to G & N clients (no B)
Do I need a more enterprise class type of access point or should the draytek be able to cope?
