Is it possible to get a wireless router to connect to another?

The 2 routers i have are a Netgear DG834GT and a Netgear WGT624 v3 borrowed from a mate, the idea is the one managing the internet currently the 834GT is upstairs and have the other one down in the living room for the 360 and anything else to connect 2.

I've been looking at the config and can't find anything that says it can. If it can't, can anyone recommend a router/access point that can? Thanks

You should be able to setup one as an access point only and get that one to connect to the other.

You then have one connected to the net and the other one taking connections and routing etc.
