Wireless router Virgin

I have a super hub 2 from Virgin and the wireless doesn't seem to reach upstairs so I'm after some recommendations for a wireless router that will have a good range.

offers really good coverage but do I need to spend that sort of money?

u could get a AP to extend the wireless signal coverage if u don't want to spend that much...

i bought that router last Thursday, it is really good tbh.

I have a super hub 2 and on 5ghz i get max signal 2 houses down the road on my iphone 5c. Do you have lead lined floors/ceilings?

I get 70-80mbps wireless from upstairs to downstairs.

Me lads baby monitor messes it up on the 2.4ghz though.

I don't know why but the wireless is lousy upstairs, hopefully the new router will sort it.

I also have the same issue with my sh 2 ac, ive been looking at the netgear ex 7000 which can be configured in either ap or extender mode. Can be had for around £125 from various purple shirt shops ocuk dont stock them though
