Phone Line/MAX Problem.
Hey guys,
Some friends of mine have this problem whereby every phone call they receive or make, disconnects their (MAX) broadband connection when plugged into a particular extension point in the house. When they use the other 2 extensions in the house, the disconnections stop… So tomorrow I’m going to re-wire the suspect ex point for them and hope it sorts it out.
My only concern is that this won’t fix the problem – the point is very near their PC and in turn near to all their power points and surge protectors, the line runs right underneath all that!
Would the mass of electrical equipment be interfering with their MAX connection; because they never had any probs when they were on standard ADSL?
