Easy answer - no. Belkin network stuff is utter crud. Have a look at a Linksys WRT54GS.
is it a cable router
and does it have firewall ,want to connect straight to pc and let laptop pickup connection

not really looking for usb
just a router to take cable to go straight to pc and let it pickup laptop awell

have cable running straight to gigbit lan card in pc,what router would you go for .how about the one lonksys wrt54gs that bubleflop was saying

from personal and recent experience i can whole heartedly recomend netgear, they have a range of routers depending on how much money you have and how fast a wireless connection you need, i give them 10 starts out of 5 :p

when i went to set it up i was going to read the manual first so i got it right.. there wasn't one.. i didnt need it, it sets up almost everything automaticaly, it's so idiout proof you'd have to be a compleat US president not to get one working.

as for the linksys, ok they look cool and that was the only reason i ever contemplated buying one but having recently tried setting up one i think they're rubbish! probably better then the belkin as all there stuff is cheep and nasty IMO but the linksys is very user unfriendly <_<

the netgear routers are designed to be mounted just about anywhere too and they dont look out of place in the lifing room where you useualy have a phone line comming out.
