Hey Guys!
I have a wireless network set up with my linksys WAG54G, its a piece of ....... the signal drops like every 10 mins. I'm wired to the router and I have to reset about once every hour. there is no updated firmware, that i can find anyway.
So as a last resort I'm going to buy a new wireless router.
Which are the best wireless routers out there easy to set up? no more than 100 pounds.

Thanks

couldnt agree more about the wag54g, i keep having to switch it off and on, its even hit and miss if i can get into the setup software.

anyone got the netgear in the 'this week only section' if so whats it like?

You can't go wrong with the Netgear DG834PN, Netgear DG834N or the Linksys WAG300N.

I've worked with a Netgear DG834G, DG834GT and DG834PN. All have been an absolute doddle to set up (plug ADSL and ethernet cables in, tap in ISP details and you're away) and infallibly reliable. I found the DG834G a little problematic out of the box, but firmware updates sorted out all reliability issues and these were easy to find on the Netgear site (which is actually quite good). Highly recommended :)

which one is the best value for money and can you tell me which ones are for adsl cuz I found some of the lower priced Netgear DG834 are for cable :s
thanks

None of the DG834s are for cable.

For what it's worth, the DG834GT's had a history of being unstable (as ever, for some folks they're fine), the DG834 less so.
