Does anyone know if there is software available that will reveal any WEP keys that have been saved onto a Windows machine?

My friend has forgot his key, and does not want to reset his router. His laptop automatically connects to the network but his other PC does not.

It only takes 2mins to set up another wep key, so I cant see what the problem is. And besides, wouldnt he be better using wpa instead

Yes it would be better using WPA, but he is on an older version of Windows that does not support WPA, Hence why he is using WEP.

He cant change the WEP key because he has forgot the login details to his router (change it from the standard), and does not want to reset his router, because he does not have his ISP details, and cant be bothered to call them up for them, if he resets it.

Thats why we wanted to use this :cool:

Update wireless drivers and take a look on the MS site for WPA patches, that'll sort his problem out.
