If you have dial up and have a spare ethernet port on your pc, you could just enable ICS (have a Google if you're not sure what it is) and plug a WAP into the ethernet port, such as this one:

If you have cable and an ethernet modem then you could get a wireless cable router such as the WRT54G, plug your pc into this via ethernet and connect the pda and psp wirelessly:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Cable_Routers.html#aNW_2d000_2dLS

Finally, if you have ADSL then you could get a wireless ADSL router such as the DG834G, plug your pc into this via ethernet and connect the pda and psp wirelessly:

HTH, null :)

Either get a WAP like I said perhaps consider an ADSL router? Means you won't need the main pc on all the time, uses less power, more secure, less work for your main pc, more future proof (spare switch ports for new devices etc.). Depends what your budget is but I'd go with an ADSL router.
