Wireless streaming from PC to smart tv

I've just built a new gaming PC and want to be able to wirelessly stream onto my tv in the next room.

I've looked at chrome cast but a lot of reviews say that it's not so good for streaming connections.

Anyone got any advice on the best way to do this?

If you're talking about games have you had a look at the Steam Link? Haven't had any issues with other types of steaming on my fire tv stick so can recommend that.

If you are talking about videos, these the process is built into windows 10, simply right click the media file and 'cast to' device.
