i am looking for a totally wireless 5.1 surround sound system. i am unable to find a full system that is wireless i am finding that the satellite speakers are wired.
does anyone here know if you can get a full wireless system ? if yes can you possibly direct me 1 or 2 or maybe tell me what to google as i have googled to find the systems.
thank you for any help

You won't find a full wireless surround system from any of the reputable AV companies.

There are systems that make use of wireless rear speakers: Sonos, Yamaha, Denon/Marantz with their Heos wireless speakers. All of these are based on either a soundbar or an AV receiver and conventional centre + front L & R speakers and maybe a sub at the front. The rear speakers have power cables, but don't need a wired speaker cable connection.

There is (or was) a Philips soundbar which uses battery-powered wireless surround speakers. These are rechargeable, and get their power by docking on to the ends of the main soundbar.

thank youl, are these systems any good do you know ?
i currently have the yamaha 207 and that is a sound bar system with just 1 bass speaker that supposed to produce 5.1 but it does not work well with my tv

Most - probably all - soundbars that make use of an external sub only use a single rather than multiple subs. The industry has got in to the bad habit of calling any mid/bass speaker built in to some or other audio product a subwoofer just because it can reproduce a bass frequency of 200Hz or a little less.

Anyway, I digress. You said the YAS-2007 doesn't work well with your TV. What's the issue?

Regarding performance, the results do depend on the size of the wireless speaker of course, but they'll give a decent pair of bookshelf speakers of a similar size a good run for their money. The other aspect is how they connect. It's Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth. That opens up a much bigger data channel than standard Bluetooth. That means the signal format isn't crippled by BT bandwidth restrictions, so the sound quality is potentially as good as a wired speaker connection can deliver.

I use a KEF 5001 wireless set up. As noted by @lucid the front, centre and sub are wired, the rears connect wirelessly to a transmitter (you will need a spare plug socket for this). The only wires on the 2 rears are for power. This setup works fine for me, in the lounge of a 2 bedroom flat.
