Just had a new combi boiler fitted today (Baxi duo-tec 28) and need a new programmable thermostat. Fitter has suggested a wireless one as they're so easy to install.
The obvious choice is Honeywell but they're ~£130, I can get a Salus RT500RF for ~£30.
Don't really want to cheap out but the Salus gets good reviews.
Anyone have any experience or suggestions?
I considered getting a Nest but I don't think it's worth it with a combi.

I ended up putting a Netatmo on my combi when it was cheap on a Black Friday deal (about £100).

It isn't as clever as some of the other smart thermostats but it has worked well on my combi. It was a worthwhile upgrade to the traditional wireless programmable it replaced.

I would defiantly opt for a 'smart' thermostat if installing a new one now. My combi had no stat when we moved in, so I added Hive to it (~£110 on Prime day deal). Being able to control it from phone / tablets / Alexa is useful, as is being able to turn the heating on remotely when coming back from holidays etc so that the house is warm when we get home.

I going to go for the Salus but was recommended on here the PlumbCenter EHE0200361 for £63. It's a rebadged Honeywell at half the price.

Go to the downloads tab and get the user guide to see all the features. The photos used in the guide are exactly the same as the Honeywell ones with the Honeywell logo blanked out :D.

Use code FIRSTSHOP20 and get 20% off your first which makes it the same price as the Salus :)

Ordered, thanks for the heads up.
Spoke with the shop assistant and they confirmed it is a rebadged Honeywell.
