So im looking for a touchscreen thats wireless and can be hold in your hands that can be connected to a stationary pc. Does such a thing exist? Tried searching the googlies but have come up empty handed or only found concept tech which is useless to me.

First thought would be a tablet running VNC / RDP.
A Surface or cheaper Windows tablet using WiFi might also work.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

The desktop etc. visible on the screen?
Sketchpad connected to Photoshop?
Games?

Letting us know what you're trying to do will help a lot :)

Well I want the same function as a regular monitor with touch capabilities just wireless so you can walk around with it. Im not a fan of remote desktop solutions as the lag/latency is horrid on the solutions ive tried. Its mainly for desktop work/use, including but not limited to surfing. Gaming is not a concern but the solution has to be snappy as i hate delay with a passion.

Tried Splashtop amongst those remote desktop solutions? I personally find the latency with it to be sufficiently small so that it doesn't impact web surfing and general computer usage very noticeably. Never tried to game with it but I don't think any wireless display solution available is going to give you near zero latency...

ill give that a try ty. Problem is that i cannot find a single pure display that is touch and wireless. Plenty of USB displays though.

A tablet fits the description of a touch screen wireless display. Is there any reason a tablet with a remote desktop app is unsuitable? Or am I not understanding what you want correctly?

The issue would be screens with a built in battery. Touch screen will also require more power. I've never heard of a monitor with these specs.

There are things like the Micosoft Wireless Display adaptor which would connect your screen to the computer, but it would also need USB power.

Could you run the USB touch-screens from a portable battery pack? Using the wirless display adaptor as well. You'd need to mock up some sort of 'case' to store it in and keep the cables tidy. Not sure how long the power would last.
