Wireless TV Signal?

Dunno if you guys might be able to help me.

My TV signal comes from a typical coaxial cable plugged into a wall socket. Terrestial channels come in through that too, so no conventional antenna.

Now, I moved the TV to the other side of the room and I'd need to run a longer cable all round the room, but I was thinking, is there a wireless alternative to substitute a male/male coaxial cable so that I can plug a transmitter on the wall and a receiver on the TV and thats that?

I have tried searching ebay, but I dont know what search terms to use, all I keep getting are transmitters and receivers for people to watch pay TV on more than one TV at the same time.

Google TV Sender. Usually used to broadcast signal to another room as well as relaying remote signals back to base station but I belive they should work in the manner you require also. About £30

no those are the OP described and not what he's lookgin for.

Sadly what you want is very expensive and illegal in the UK :)
The TV tunes on the aerial input and so you can't "tune" a remote aerial - unless very expensive pro AV equipment.
Sorry mate, either get a freeview box, site it where the aerial comes in and use a tv sender to the TV or just put some cable in.
