Hi

My desktop PC is the only non-wireless computer in the house. I have good connection for a range of laptops, an iPad and all the families smartphones. I have a 'workhorse' mono laser that I use for most of my work, but we've just bought a wireless colour inkjet that I'd like occasional access to. How effective are these:

Do I need a compatible router to set this up? It would almost exclusively be to use the wifi printer. My current router is an MSI RG60SE.

Cheers

You shouldn't need the PC to have wireless to talk to the printer.

The printer will connect to your router using its wireless connection.

Once that's done any machine connected to the same network (wired or wireless) will be able to see the printer.
