I brought a kingnet usb wireless adapter thing yesterday, in the hope of setting it up so my phone can use the internet. Now, its all set up in peer to peer (Ad-hoc) mode with WEP encryption.
My phone finds, authenticates and connects to the network fine. The problem however is the internet sharing is not working. I have clicked on the icon in network connections and enabled internet sharing, i also set the IP address of the wireless connection (in network connections) to 192.168.1.30 and the gateway to my routers address (192.168.1.1) and entered the correct DNS address.
So the setup is something like phone -> wirelessusb -> pc -> networkcard -> router -> internet.
My phones browser (n80) gives the error Web: No Gateway reply.
Does anyone else know if theres anything i have done wrong or need to set up?
(I pretty much definate the phone is not the problem here)
