hey guys.

I've started gaming again after recently purchasing a new tower, I now need a headset that wont break the bank.

I would Ideally be after a wireless one but if it is going to cost me sound quality and battery life to get a cheaper one I will make do with a wired one.

I have absolutly no idea what i'm looking for when it comes to this.

what should i be looking to spend? minimum to get a half decent headset wired or not?

ta guys!

to give you an idea of how clueless I am my last headset is from about 12 years ago its a wired turtlebeach thing thats spent most of its time on the floor in the spare room.

The corsair HS70 Pro wireless are good, I had them and replaced with Audeze Penrose x, the corsair range are often reviewed and make best buy recommendations

Overclockers range here:

First one for gaming seems to be the MSI IMMERSE GH20 Lightweight Gaming Headset at £27.95.

I have the Corsair virtuoso and they are really good. However I got sick of charging them or more specifically forgetting to charge them...

So I went back to my akg headphones and DAC.

I have the Corsair hs80 headset, it's great, and the sound quality is amazing!

However, mic quality versus my old trusty Sennheiser game one headset leaves something to be desired and my gamer friends notice it. Just depends on how flexible you want to be when gaming, in my case it was more for having less cables around.
