wireless + wired

hi,

i have my comp currently wired to my wireless adsl router / modem.

i also have it connected through my wireless card.

does this cause confusion for my comp as to where to get its internet connection from or does it make no difference.

i currently have it wired as well as i find wireless to be unsatisfactory atm.
