Hi all,

I think I have finally had enough of my current mouse after a few month.
It is a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000.

I have issues with the wireless aspect, laughing at the site which says 30 foot range. It does not work if I plug the adapter in the back of the pc, the mouse is just above the pc!

So I have plugged the adapter into the front, it is just not up to task. It keeps failing to connect. If I was left handed I would have to move my pc it is that bad.

Now this is the second mouse I have had wirelss issues with the first a logitech device which it looks like the m510 superseded.

I am now gaming more and thinking of going wired, but wires annoy me a bit!
So are any of the slightly more expensive mice good?

TLDR:

Issues with wireless mice in past, unsure on buying a more expensive one will help. Or do I just go wired?

After reading some threads and the sticky, I like the look of:
Roccat Lua 2000DPI Gaming Mouse
Ozone Xenon Gaming Mouse
Mionix Naos 3200

Gigabyte M7700 wireless

Logitech G700 or the newer G700S
Can go wired or wireless. Never had a single problem with mine, which I've had pretty much since the release date (so it's an early model, too). Certainly works out to 20', although I'd have to go outside my house to test the full range.

Thanks for the advice people.

Definately think ones with not too many buttons are best for my needs.

Was going to buy the Roccat Kova on OCUK for £13.99 but the deal ended by the time I got in from work. The joys of now wirless and no 3g at work !

I now can't justify the cost of the lua when the Kova was cheaper hah!
