I've got a Linksys WRGT54S router hooked up to my ntl box and it's been fine since I installed it (last year ish). Lately it has decided to start playing up causing the laptops to keep dropping the connection. If I'm sitting in front of the router with the laptop it's fine but once upstairs (where it has worked flawlessly) the laptop loses the connection and can't connect again.
Does anyone have a clue on this as I'm getting shouted at by my sister due to her needing the net for the work.
I haven't changed anything lately that I know of to cause this. It only started when I had to reboot the ntl modem and the router as the net had gone down so don't know if that would be a problem. The ntl modem is a surfboard thingy, ruddy old I know
