Hi Guys,

Hope you can help me, I’m at the end of my tether here and I think I’ve tried everything but I can’t get it to connect.

I've got a BT HomeHub 2.1 and it simply will not connect to my desktop computer. My desktop is running windows 7 ultimate and I’ve got a D-Link AirPlus-G DWL-G510. I've downloaded the latest drivers from here:

http://www.dlink.co.uk/cs/Satellite...97380442375&pagename=DLinkEurope-GB/DLWrapper

but it will not connect. My desktop is approximately 15 feet away from the router (through one wall). All I get in the icon in the bottom right of my computer is "no networks are available". Although when my laptop is on my desk (next to my desktop) it connects wirelessly to the HomeHub with 100% signal strength.

I'd be grateful for any ideas, help or advice on how I can get it to work on my desktop. I've looked on Google but can’t find anything that can help me.

Thanks for any help offered

I would test to see if its a security problem by turning the security off and see if that fixes it....long shot of course but easy to test

(Obviously if it does then you need to figure out how to get it to work with security rather than run unsecured)

Would expect it to still find the network though so i suspect it could be a driver problem.

...just my two cents :)

have you tried setting up the desktop in the room with the router ?

is the laptop running windows 7 as well ?
