The wireless adapter and software at my mates house can see the wireless network, and will try to connect to it, but no matter what seems to happen, it tries to connect, but doesnt fully connect to the router, and isnt issued a DHCP IP address.

Its a linksys wireless usb 54G adapter, and its listing the network as 75% signal strength, however, I've reset the router a few times, reinstalled drivers etc, resetup the network, with and without wpa.

It used to work on the old computer that was in this room, but wont work on the new PC.

Any suggestions?

Also having the same problem as you. I've been connecting no problem since I had my router (54GL), but since yesterday it just won't connect at all. It picks up the connection, but when I click connect it just doesn't connect.

Anyone have any idea? Looked on the linksys site and tried a few things but nothings worked yet :(

I have the DD-WRT v23 SP2 firmware.
