Wireless works for few seconds and stops

I'm not really sure what has happened but I hope someone on Overclockers can solve my mystery. Since a couple of days ago my wireless router has been acting weird. What happens is that my devices connect to the Netgear router, work well (send and receive) for about 10 seconds and suddenly the router stops sending (or devices stop receiving?), despite my devices being still connected to the network (says: No Internet Access)

So far:

• My phone's wireless has this problem.
• One of my laptop (an HP Netbook) shows the same symptoms.

However, this case gets more complicated because

• My desktop's wireless PC works perfectly.
• The other laptop (HP pavilion) works perfectly.

could just be a faulty router, quite a few netgears overheat and it ruins the wireless...you start getting issues and then they pack in all together
