Hi all,

Got a bit of a wierd problem that i'm trying to resolve. I have a gigabyte Z77X-D3H motherboard, I want to use my wireless xbox controller on this PC, The issue is purely cosmetic, the controller is working and i can use it, however the sync light keeps flashing, I've tried pairing it to the wireless tranmitter with no joy, I suspect it is something to do with either windows 10 or the motherboard i am using, the controller works fine on my laptop and the light doesnt keep flashing. what i have done so far.

1.tried updating the drivers for the xbox controller, no updated drivers other then the generic windows 10 default drivers.
2.updated the to the latest motherboard USB drivers.

Any help is appreciated.

No i dont have that, Did you install any drivers at all? When i upgraded to windows 10, it installed its own drivers. and if i use the same controller on my laptop(which is also running windows 10) it works fine.

Fixed it, It would appear that when i upgraded to windows 10, it left the old windows 7 software in place on my machine, i removed the software and it synched up. Happy days. Now to see what this beast can do gaming wise! Cheers all for the help.
