Hi,

I found, for £30, a wireless controller & adapter to allow you to use it on the PC.

I love the Xbox controller & would love to be able to play my PC games with one as well.

I just wondered if the support for them is good (nice customisable drivers etc.)?

Thanks,
Craig.

To be honest i find the wired controller superior, no batteries to worry about, or signal blocking and it comes with a healthy length of USB cable.

Yea, I guess the wired one would get past all that, but I'd like to be able to play from anywhere in my room... I doubt the cable would stretch to the other side of my room where my bed is.

I have a MX1000 at the moment so I just hope it doesn't cause any problems.

The one I found for £30... it says it's basically a wireless Xbox360 controller with a crossfire adapter - so I could use the controller on the Xbox as well.

Usually wireless controllers are ~£30? Is there any difference between the normal wireless controller and the wireless controller w/crossfire adapter?

Found it on OcUK as well...: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GC-001-MS

Thanks,
Craig.

Am using a MX1000 and wireless xbox360 controller together and get no problems here....

But i haven't installed the Logitech MX1000 software...

I guess if the MX1000 and the controller did clash then a simple fix would be just to re-connect the mouse (with the button on the receiver) until you find a compatible one.

Thanks,
Craig.

Nope, the "Windows" controller is no different, it just comes with a driver disc. You can use any Xbox 360 controller as long as you have the wireless receiver.

Nice, thanks very much.

I think it'll be a good buy @ only £30 - I would have thought the package would be ~£50 as the receiver on its own is £20 and the controller on its own is £30.

Thanks all :)
Craig.
