Wireless?

I am currently thinking about buying the Logitech MX Revolution it is a wireless mouse and i normally use my computer for gaming, once its fully charged the mouse can be used up to 1 week of casual use so thats fine but for gaming should i get a wireless or 1 with a wire i heard some people saying that wireless arnt so good for gaming so opinions please.!

if not the wireless i proberly would go for the Logitech G5 Laser Gaming USB Computer/PC Optical Mouse

Some people claim that wireless is slower and technically there has to be a difference between wireless and wired but currently it is so small as to be almost unnoticeable, I'm using a Logitech G7 (the G5 but wireless and without adjustable weights) and I can't notice the difference between wired and wireless. I have an Intellimouse v3.0 if I want wired but frankly the G7 seems just as good.
