Wiring Ethernet to another room

So I'm going to wire into another room as I know I'm going to have wore left over is there anyway to make it look nice or a way to make it into like an Ethernet port so I can use a Seperate ethernet and plus it into it?

You'll want a faceplate for that, you can get various sizes and colour schemes - The rainforest has them, you will need to terminate the cable in the faceplate and it'll look nice and neat.

Not, if you simply snip the end off an existing cable, it may not work as well.

Quite often cables that you buy will be poor quality multi-stranded wires. Which don't punch down so well.
