Hi All,
Just after a few tip for wiring CCTV cameras, im using conventional dome camera's using Ethernet cable with BNC baluns at either end. My question is more of using a junction box to house the wiring externally. Whats regarded as best practice for this, ive seen the camera's directly fixed to the top of the junction box on a couple of installations, is this the right way of doing this? Or should you mount the junction box to the side of the camera?
