Wiring multiple PWM fans in parallel

Quick sanity check. I’m wiring three fans to a single header on my fan controller. The amperage is fine.

Should I disconnect the tach signal from two of the fans, so only one is reporting speed. Leaving the 0v, 12v and pwm in tact.

Or am I missing something?

Correct, multiple rpm input signals would likely cause some serious mess for speed reading.
