I am in the process of wiring up an alarm to my shogun and have hit a slight hitch. My alarm has a single output for the indicators but i have feeds for left and right on the car loom. If i connect it the indidicators both sides flash when indicating.

Im sure theres a way around this using diodes but cant remeber how to do it (school was a long time ago!)

Can anyone give me a clue?

Like so:
Code:
            /------->|-----[LEFT_IND]
[ALARM]-----
            \------->|-----[RIGHT_IND]

But a better option is to use the hazard warning lights' trigger on the flasher can (Turn signal relay).

Excellent thats what i was thinking now its a trip into town to get some diodes!

Going to tap into the indicator loom as someone has already fitted (and looks like ripped out) an alarm so am trying to tidy up the wiring while im am installing the alarm!
