Im looking for a wireless router that will dial up my ISP.

Are they classed as access points ? As i see routers and access points in different categories.

Not sure exactly what i should be looking for. Any help and ideas on what to buy would be greatly appreciated.

All i need it to do is dial my Broadband ISP and allow a Lapotop and XBox use the wireless.

Thanks again guys / gals.

ADSL.

Yeh i need one with an adsl modem inside to dial up but im lost on whats best to buy from the shop :(

What's your budget? Do you already have a particular brand of wireless adapters for your computers? Also, what sort of area does the wireless need to cover.

I personally have had good experiences with the Netgear DG834G and Speedtouch 585i

edit: all the routers on THIS PAGE are modem/routers for ADSL

i have a gigabyte usb adaptor for my laptop.

I hear good things about Belkin. Range is only from one floor to the next so lets say 50 metres.

Price for main box £55 - £80 max i would say.

I've only heard bad things about belkin funnily. Then again pretty much every one of the 'home user' (ie sub-£100) routers have horror stories attached.

I recommend the Netgear DG834PN. Been using mine solidly for a few months with no problems.

Also it has MIMO and it supports ADSL2+ which you may need in the future.
