Just a suggestion for the OcUK main website. It may have been suggested already but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything surprisingly unless I searched the wrong keywords.. Couldn't decide on a forum to post this in either so thought I'd post it here as it is the most popular so could gain the most feedback. :p

I was thinking a 'wishlist' and/or 'saved baskets' could be done on the website? Everyone loves to add up all there future builds, specs, friends setups, etc and would find it very convenient to save them for later. Would be good to label each saved basket as well like "Josh's Build" or "Parent's Rig" or "Work PC Upgrade" etc and so on..

Plus, you find plenty of items on the website that you really really want.. So it'd be nice to just have a single wishlist for each user and allow it to link maybe to the forum so other users could see what you are after at some point? ;)

Looking for any comments, ideas, etc from others and what OcUK staff think?

Your basket (one of them) is stored in your cache, so you keep that one anyway. Saying that this wouldn't be a bad idea, and wishlist would be great for xmas..

would be great for OcUK prize giveaways too - it could be something like fill your wishlist with £x amount of goodies and the winner of this competition gets their wishlist.

Good idea.. Also the ocuk basket could do with a clear all button. Trying to click the little (X)'s with a 3200dpi mouse is not fun.

Yes! Definately.. An 'Empty Basket' button would be sweet.. Can't believe it isn't there already!!

What the hell, I thought this exact thing maybe an hour ago! Strange. But it's a great idea and I'm surprised it isn't already implemented

This is a good idea, I believe in the past members have asked for a button or link to post there basket here.

  • Highlight the top quantity field
  • Hit 0, tab, tab
  • Repeat until all done
  • Hit enter
  • Profit :)

Much quicker than trying to click little icons, but yeah, an empty basket option would be nice :p

Chigley that is exactly what I do currently, but is still tedious!

Although an 'Empty Basket' button is still quite the standard now so should be in place anyway like 90% of other Ecommerce websites..

Haha, good times :D
But I agree, it'd be a welcomed yet simple addition!

There's a particular retailer I use that does this already, very handy feature. Will be good for those 'spec me' threads on here I'm sure :)
