Wistation360 (which one)

Only downside to the 360 kinect is you need plenty of room. You need to beable to stand a good distance away from the kinect, otherwise it keeps losing you. But other than that its pretty damn good.

Although you can get the magnifiers to reduce distance.

My kinnect has sat pretty dormant for most of the time ive had it, wee kids do love it though, my girlfriends 2 year old can play games which he cant with controllers.

Well I think we have pretty much decided on the 360, the kinect should replace the Wii we used to have and the more adult games good for me. The video streaming and soon ability to watch iPlayer etc has pushed us over the edge I think. Completely forgot about the last couple of things until this morning.

If the remit is to have very casual motion gaming with the option for some hardcore gaming, you would be right in looking at the 360/Kinect

The Kinect has lots of casual motion games, and it works really well for immersion...

I got a PS3 and Move to replace the wii in the front room, but there just aren't enough casual games for the missus/kids, it was either really simple kids party games or serious adult stuff like sports champions. The kids and missus went straight back to the Wii.
I got the kinect, and it catered for everyone, loads of wii-esque stuff, the motion control works even better for fitness and dance games, and I can pop in any current hardcore game and play. Its still used a lot, and there where no complaints when I sold the Wii.

Aren't Sony pretty much done with Move though? There are no titles announced and it's only real use these days seems to be as an alternative control method for fps.

I thought the same but just noticed there are 4-5 titles for Move coming out next week. (Medieval Moves looking the best of the bunch)

Also I've seen a new advert on tv recently.

Noticed that the price for Move games are around the £15 mark now which IMO is a much fairer price for these types of games.
