Witcher 2 for x360 in april

first reviews starting to appear..its looking good

looks like mine is on the way as well even though release date is tuesday..good old shopto

While it may not look anywhere as good as it does on a high spec PC, even in the short time i've played it, its easily one of the best looking games i've seen on the 360.

how does it play like on the 360? controller suited?

Pretty decent, no issues with the controller so far. Gameplays been pretty smooth as well, no noticable slow downs. I've not installed the game to HD but I think that it would be worthwhile, im just short on space.

LOL, just opened the world map that comes with it and the first thing that was staring out at me was a pair of breasts (artwork on the map).

nothing wrong there..I always said what skyrim really needed was more boobs

Ordered it yesterday 'cos I finished Mass Effect 3 and had nothing else to play single player. Looks like it might have been a good call from what you lot are saying :)

Apparently Tesco stores are selling it early today instead of Tuesday. May pop along tonight and have a look if not then a pre-order is in order.

The Witcher games are based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, they have a bit of a cult following in Poland. I think the first book has been translated into English.

They have cult following in Russia, Czech republic, Slovakia...all slavic european countries love these books, and now games :-)

Thoroughly enjoying it on the 360.

Its a bit of a shame it'll not be played by as many as it should on the 360. I remember talking to a couple of console only gamers a few weeks back and neither had any idea what the Witcher 2 was when I said I was looking forward to its 360 release, what made it even more odd was they were both RPG fans and had played Oblivion and Skyrim to death.

I'm a console only player, RPGs are my fav type of game, and although I'd heard of The Witcher, and seen some footage, it just looked like a typical PC MMORPG thing that are a dime a dozen on that platform.

Then I saw it coming to 360 I thought I'd take a look... Preordered it instantly! Sitting on my shelf now, will be played once I finish Silent Hill Downpour (hugely underrated game!).

Strange as it sounds I completed it on PC with the 360 pad and it played better than the 360 version.

You can't adjust the look sensitivity (set way too fast) on the 360 and they made it so when you select quick items you have to click A rather than pointing to it and letting go.
