I heard this was coming last year, has there been any word about it since? Or, is CDPR still clearing up the mess from Cyberpunk 2077 and the recent hacking incident?

Top of my list would be DLSS 2.0. Although, the performance is already great on my RTX 3070. Actually, more important would be very high quality textures and improved anti aliasing, cause the FXAA game setting was always crap tbh.

in terms of gameplay, I'm unsure if they have and plans to make any changes.

Playing it again for the xxxx time, dame it's such a good game, the music, the little touches, the easter eggs you notice, it's still in my top 5 games of all time list.

I finished it and really enjoyed it but it became nothing more than a ‘button basher’ my character was levelled in the right areas for fast combat and at first the fights were challenging and needed some preparation, disappointingly from mid games onwards all I had to do was walk toward an enemy and tank him whilst I held down my sword button and the fight swiftly ended, lotions potions etc simply unnecessary.

What difficulty did you have it on? Sounds like you had it on 'I'm useless' setting :D

I play most games on hard. Most games allow you to knock back the setting if an assailant is hard to beat, then turn it back up.

Got to agree, the only time in that game I found it easy is if I had the game on easy mode or I'd put 150 hours into and had a god tier setup.

Agreed, I'm doing a new playthrough at the moment since I picked it up on Steam (already own it on GoG but wanted the achievements :D) and I've gone for blood and broken bones (hard). Previously did death march (insane) and personally I got annoyed at some fights where things could pretty much 1 hit me. I wanted this play through to feel like a bit more of a tank so I've not taken the OP skill, whirlwind and instead focused on dodging and magic with light attacks being buffed. Loving it at this difficulty, although upscaling enemies is almost essential in this game otherwise it can get a bit boring.

Also, I forgot just how much content there is, I've done 50 hours and I've only just got to Skellige... And that's with only scratching the surface for the mainland quests and contracts.

Hard! :D

The only challenge I got was from attacking the Guards!
