Loving this kind of music:


Does anyone know of what variety this is? Gaelic? Would be good to find a compilation CD of similar music..
 
Thanks for this.. I did come across this.. unfortunately there are no other tracks in the album that is similar to this sweet gaelic sound.. bummer..
 
Edit: I came across the witcher 3 soundtrack. Your link shows a slight variation to the tracks in the soundtrack.. I'll check it out!
 
This is a scottish folk song which was originally called Fear a' Bhàta which means the boatman and is a love song

If your looking for similar stuff then Capercaillie do quite a few tunes with a similar vane. a lot of scottish folk music can be quite like this. Maybe not the same high production that this has but none the less conveys the same feeling, even the stuff that is in english and not gaelic

Only other thing that reminds me of it is the soundtrack to Outlander


You could also try some of the WoW zone songs i.e Grizzly hills.
